Skipping chapters on the Audible Apple Watch app requires pressing hard on the screen and then finding the secondary controls. Which means that the watch is NOT in synch with the phone.Ĥ. So if you start listening to an audio book on your iPhone, you cannot switch to the watch without pairing anew. The otherwise magnificent AirPods only answer to one master. Can't do that on the Audible app, which seems to think we read one thing at a time.ģ. My favorite thing is to dip into Middlemarch on business trips and so I always keep it downloaded on my iPhone. It takes forever to add a book from Audible to your Apple Watch - on my Manhattan Wifi, with the watch on its charger, as long as two hours. If you prefer, you may call them my complaints:ġ. This is the ultimate first world problem, and I am entirely aware that it is meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
